About our Shenandoah Clinic

Welcome to ASI Audiology and Hearing Instruments in Shenandoah, Iowa.

Our clinic in Shenandoah is right downtown, nearby Great Western Bank and the restaurant Sanctuary. ASI Shenandoah regularly provides hearing screening services to the surrounding areas, with many people coming from Farragut, Essex, Sidney, and Tabor. In addition to people coming to us, ASI Audiology does outreach at assisted living facilities in the area for people who may have a difficult time leaving the house to have their hearing aids maintained. Our Team

Our office in Shenandoah is staffed by our Patient Care Coordinator, Deanna Griffith with the help of Lisa Lewis and Kim Petty.

Audiology Providers

Abby Couse, M.S., CCC-A  Abby began working at ASI in the fall of 2001. She received a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders in 1997 and a master’s degree in Audiology in 1999 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Through education and experience, Abby is proud to be positively changing lives through better hearing with ASI.

Dr. Michael Webb, Au.D., F-AAA  Michael received his B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2008 from the University of Florida, and his doctorate in Audiology in 2014 from the University of California and San Diego State University. Following in his father’s footsteps as an audiologist, Michael has seen and experienced first-hand his entire life the positive impact better hearing has on a patients quality of life.

Dr. Katherine Frericks, Au.D.  Katherine (or Katie) joined ASI Audiology the fall of 2017. She completed her doctorate of audiology at Ohio University in 2007. Previously, Dr. Frericks worked at as an audiologist in Urbana, Illinois, testing patients from birth through adulthood. Katie always knew she wanted to be involved in the medical field, and loves the rewarding feeling of helping people hear their loved ones again.

Our hearing aids combine great service with the newest and most affordable hearing technology. If you would like to learn more about our fully programmable, digital hearing aids, special hearing systems that work with the television or phone, or just want to learn what the most advanced hearing technology can do for you, please let us know.
